hiya, i am looking for a book for my dd2 who is nearly 8.
We have to do a daily procedure (medical and essential) to her which is fairly traumatic both for her and us. We started about 6 weeks ago and have had ups and downs with it 
Just before the school hols she had some kids yoga and also resilient kids (the school programme) and this has seemed to give her some really good ideas on getting rid of the bad/negative thoughts etc and concentrating on breathing etc. We live in a very rural area so no access to yoga classes or the like and i'm afraid its not something i've ever done either.
Am thinking of a book (read either together or dd2 on her own) that would enable us to learn/explore some calming/soothing/reassuring techniques that we could practice.
Any suggestions would be really welcome! cheers
