Some ideas for a 4 year old with the attention span of a gnat?

she loves stories, but funny bones is about the limit of her attention span, seem to be reading that, the tiger who same to tea, not last night but the night before and pengin constantly at the moment so would love some inspiration for new stories

Just like you is a gorgeous book.
Hairy McClary & Slinky Malinky series are humourous and have great illustrations.
Dr Seuss red back books, also To think I saw it on Mulberry Street

There's loads of the Hairy McClary books.

She might like the Usborne Farmyard tales? They're actually aimed at children learning to read, but dd loved them as stories to be read to her.

They have a short bit of text at the top of the page with the 'plot' and then a longer bit of text at the bottom - so you can just read the short bits and look at the pictures if you want.

thanks, not heard of those either, I think Ill have a little shopping expedition on Amazon today and grab some new ones for her next visit, shes desperate to learn to read at the moment so they sound like just the job
