Has anyone read these with DC? I was looking at the "Mission Victory" (stage 11) one on amazon, as I have a nelson-obsessed DS1 (he's 5.5, but reading Astrosaurs, Roald Dahl etc happily alone). Would you recommend or not?

I bought them in a set (12 books) ranging from stage 10 to 12.

DS (6) seems really taken with them although we have only read the first one so far (The Strange Box) so sorry not much help Blush

Might be worth looking at getting the set though as they seem to continue on from each other iyswim.

And the first book we have read is all about how they become time travellers.

These are a fabulous series. DS has read all of them. The Book People had them in set. He loved them! They are really exciting and informative. He was 6/7 when he read them, so I wonder if 5 is a little young - The language might be fine, but the stories could be a little complicated?? The series has a long running plot through it, so they are designed to be read in order.
