Books for 2.5yr old boy

Looking at the bookshelf for the kids is boring me and them!! Have a 1yr old DD and 2 yr old DS plus stepdaughter 4yr old on weekends. I'm looking for books that make u think awww that was lovely!! Something like the Alfie books or similar if anyone knows any?

Oh, sorry, The Hairy Toe won't make you go awww. It makes my 2 (2 and 4) scream and hide under the bedclothes (but it's their favourite book).

Having just got out some awww books from library DS has decided that they're stupid so any suggestions really lol

you have to try Baggy Brown by Mick Inkpen- it nearly made me cry the first time I read it (everytime actually) and is probably the reason DS2 is called Alfie
Also bookstart is a good place to look for book ideas
