I am aware that I sound a bit mad!

When I was small, about 4, I had this book where you had on each page something that had to be posted through a slit through the next page. I don't remember what it was about (although I keep thinking maybe a penguin) or what it was called, but I have some very strong memories of it iyswim?

Would anyone have any idea what this type of book would be called, or how I could find something similar for dd?

Jolly postman? it's an Allan alberg book

Nope, got that one!

It wasn't one about 'post' but that somehow in the story you had to put things through a slit on the page, and they would come out the other side and that would be the next bit of the story.

Clear as mud :o

Now I've just ordered the mole one for my son, any shopping opportunity!

:o

There is one I have just seen, about a squirrel that feels familiar. Don't know how to link on my phone, but it is on amazon.

Thank you all for your help :)
