Kindle book recommendations for 13 year old reluctant reader (girl)

Have posted about this before but trying again...

DD used to love reading, something turned her off a few years ago... We are going to get a Kindle,as we think this format might appeal to her to get her reading again...

Was reminded recently of a wonderful book we read at school - "The Weirdstone of Brisingamen" - which I am going to get for DD but not available on Kindle.

If you have 13 year old girls who have loved books available for Kindle, please let me know. Equally, if you have had reluctant readers and found books which have encouraged them, regardless of format, I'd like to hear.

V. hard to tell you the kind of things she likes - she can adore a book, then not like something others have recommended as similar, so best just to get a big long list of suggestions and start to work through them

wow, thanks Brightredstar....she used to read all sorts of stuff, now it's hard to second guess. More recently, she loved Starseeker by Tim Bowler but didn't like Shadows. She enjoyed the Boy with Striped Pyjamas. She has read all the Twighlight books - but didn't "devour" them in the way I thought she might - will take a look at your suggestions now.....
