My children (aged 8 & 11) are avid readers and I've just been made aware of a book award which Red House Children's Books are co-ordinating.
It allows children to vote for their favourite book that has been published in the last 12 months - there are 3 categories for pre-school children, younger children and older children and they can vote either individually or in a group for 3 different titles!
This is so worth doing, it allows children to voice their opinions!
