Book about being a bridesmaid?

DD who is 3.4 is going to be a bridesmaid for her aunt in October. Can anyone recommend a book which would explain what bridesmaids do and what happens at a wedding suitable for her? I think if she watches the Royal Wedding she is going to expect something rather grander than SIL is planning Grin

I like this

However there are loads to choose from.

I can recall a lovely book from when I was younger but can't think what thte title was - will try and get back to you when I remember.

In one of the Alfie stories in the Big Alfie and Annnie Rose Storybook by Shirley Hughes, Alfie is a pageboy, and there are also bridesmaids. Its a very sweet story, would recommend the book anyway for any 3 y/o :)

PMSL at basing expectations on the Royal Wedding - your SiL is going to have to work hard to live up to that!

Thanks everyone - some good ideas. DD has just decorated sitting room with bunting for the wedding so DSIL is up against it Grin

I love the Alfie and Annie Rose story - Annie Rose is so cute in that one! She has a temper tantrum in the aisle Grin

Also Angelina Ballerina and the Royal Wedding.

Seconding Lettice the Bridesmaid, very sweet, although I'm sure your DD is not a rabbit.

I've never been a bridesmaid SadEnvy
