Hello, I wanted to make a seasonal book basket for my lo where I rotate illustrated books in and out according to where we are in the year. She is only 14 months right now, but I am happy to get books for older age groups too and keep them by. Just wandering if anyone could reccomend any books which relate to spring at all? (and any other amazing ones for summer, autumn and winter that come to mind would be good too!) thanks so much for any help! :)

thanks so much for your reply! The Gerder Muller book are already on my Amazon wish list but that tiny seed one looks lovely! Thanks for that, wasn't really expecting anyone to get back to me! Grin

I'm not sure if these are quite what you are after but just incase - they are three books that take you through all four seasons.

Bear in sunshine
Listen listen
Skip through the seasons

I actually sell these books and can give discounts so let me know if you are interested. I wont post the details here as I'm probably not allowed! :)

Guess How Much I Love You In The Spring is lovely.

Mr Spotty's Potty is all about a man who loves to grow flowers - as does his dog!

Handa's Surprise has Spring/Summer vibes

Percy The Park Keeper - series of books which has seasonal elements

Over In The Meadow (there are a few versions) is all about baby animals hence very springlike in feel and illustrations.

However I think this is a slightly bonkers idea TBH. Sweet, but impractical. But your bookcase, your rules. Smile

DD loved Over In The Meadow when she was about 16 months in particular.

Ferdie And The Falling Leaves is a nice one for autumn.
