Anyone's DD reading this? Have been reading to DD1 at bedtime and we've finished now! Didn't feel the ending gave enough closure to the story, anyone else found the same?

How old is your dd? Mine is almost 8 and loves JW but I am not sure if this will be too old (normally we are pretty relxed about "censorshiop" re her books but one or 2 of JW's have been held back....

She is excited about this new one so I would love to hear what you reckon.

Yes I know what you mean!!!
DD1 is 10 and really liked it. There isn't anything particularly unsuitable or distressing like some her JKs other books I could mention. Was quite a sweet story, I quite enjoyed reading it with her.

How into JK in your dd? My 8 yo hasn't read it yet, she's read the mum minder and the suitcase kid and is reading sleepovers atm. I'd be more than happy for her to read it in terms of content but not sure if she will choose to, though now I've read with dd1 I expect dd2 will want to read too!

DD2 (7) is reading it at the moment, albeit the sample copy from the JW mag and really enjoying it, read it on the way to school this morning.
