Can anyone help me identify this lovely book from my childhood

Illustrated book for around 5-7 year olds.

Quirky style - like Madeline.

About 2 sisters who were botanists. The title, I think was their names.

Lovely strange spidery illustrations and pictures of nature.

May have been set in Edwardian times...

Any pointers would be great.
