Soccer school series

My ds (8) started reading a book in the library the other day and it was called something like "soccer school, making the team", but I can't remember exactly it seemed to be part of a fiction series about a group of football mad 10yr olds.

Unfortunately I forgot my library card, and I can't find any reference to the book on any google search and I also can't remember the name of the author. [hopeless emoticon]

Can anyone help to identify the book or author?

Not sure if this is the same thing but we are reading the "Football Academy" set of books by Tom Palmer - about 10 amd 11 year olds playing for a junior team.

You could try looking on Amazon? Search under children's books and football?
