DN has finished the whole series of Muchamore books. Can anybody think of a new author he might like, perhaps in a similar vein?

You will be helping a very grumpy 12 yo whose computer is disabled till monday...

Send him to the library to rummage for himself!

(thereby also alleviating boredom of being computerless!)

I just wondered if anyone whose children read that author had any other recommendations...

Too sulky this weekend to enthusiastically root in a library I'm afraid.

Charlie Higson, the young James Bond series
Andy McNab, the Boy soldier series?
My teen is still asleep, or I'd be rummaging on his bookcases.

Charlie Higson looks good. He's already read McNab. Would love to hear back from you when your teen stirs (muuuuuch later Grin)

Hi Maryz, thanks for that, looks like some really good stuff there. I'll take DN to the library and see if we can get him hooked on another author.

My DS recommends the Dot Robot books by Jason Bradbury.
