He came in to talk to ds school (ds Y3) and ds got really excited, ordered a book from the library, and we got to chapter 4, and a dead, blood encrusted corpse (fox). Then loads of hocum about priests and stuff. I am q unhappy about this being pitched at ds, but am I just fussing? Don't want to complain if every other parent is happy abou it...

Was it a photo or a picture?
What did your DS make of it - what was HIS reaction? I would go with that.

He wrote a note that night saying he was too scared to slepep, and wrote a story (v derivative) about the blood ripper, accompanied by drawing...it's more that 7 yr old boys don't need bllod and guts etc - i'm trying to steer him away from horror (don't mind goosebumps etc)
