Best books for preparing kids for new baby

Hello all

We are expecting DC3 in March and I would like to get DS's a book each for Christmas on the 'new baby/big brother' theme.

All the ones I've seen seem quite babyish - they are 4 and 6, and I would like something age appropriate.

Any recommendations gratefully received.
Thanks

We quite liked "I want a sister" by Tony Ross - probably good for the 4 year old.

I like the look of that one, thanks.
And...... did they get a sister?

Theres a house inside my mummy is a fab book! I read it to my DS (5 at the time) when i was expecting DD1 and then read it to DD1 (3 at the time) when we were expecting DD2, they both loved it

Another vote for the House inside my Mummy. My 6 year old still pulls it out sometimes and I gave birth when he was 3!!

The books that helped us the most when DC2 was born were Shirley Hughes's wonderful picture books - so many of them feature really lovely sibling relationships - the Alfie books, Lucy and Tom and the Nursery Collection (Colours, Chatting etc)
