Lump found

My middle child found a testicle lump earlier in the week. We went to the GP today they can also feel the lump. They got a second opinion from another senior GP and have decided to send him for an urgent referral for an ultrasound which should be done within 2 weeks. I’m so scared and he’s been asking so many questions since we came home.

The other alternative is a complication post testicle surgery in January she said it could be sperm that’s crystallised. He had surgery I both sides and the lump is only on one side which concerns me even more. DS is 14

What surgery did he have in January? Is this a possibility that they discussed with you as part of that at all?

He had torsion in January they never mentioned the risk of a lump and he’s been checking himself in the shower regularly. He’s told us the lump wasn’t there 2 weeks ago and his surgery follow-up was okay. There was a size difference and infection post operation
