Worrying mole

Hi my son has this mole that has changed, took doctors and have had photo sent to dermatologist now a two week wait. I’m really nervous

It's good that the doctor is taking it seriously and has referred you. Hopefully it's going to be fine. How old is your son?

Just wanted to offer some reassurance- I had two moles removed when I was 11 that were itching and uncomfortable. Hope your son will just have it removed and continue with his life as normal.

My son is 12 and he has a large mole on his shoulder, and a large mole on back of his neck, along with smaller moles over his body, the mole on his shoulder I noticed had changed whilst abroad on holiday, as soon as we got home I booked him a GP app and all his moles got checked but all come back all clear

I appreciate this is a worrying time but it may all be fine, please try not to worry just yet.
