I am genuinely just curious. For those who have made a conscious decision to not have children, what kind if contraception do you use abd why did you choose that? I am on the implant. I was on the implant many years ago before my husband and i wanted children then got it removed when we decided to try and got a new one just recently having g decided not to have children. I love it, no periods at all. Only needs replacing every 3 years. It's so easy.

I've been on the pill forever! And I've been single a long time 🤣

Mirena coil. It's ace.
The implant made me go nuts. 🤪

Condoms

I’ve been sterilised. I was turned down twice for it in my 30s, cos apparently I didn’t know my own mind, but eventually had it done at 40.

The Mirena didn’t suit me at all. I know sterilisation isn’t 100% effective, but it was the best option for me.

Condoms.

Depo injection for 3 years, stopped as you can only be on it for 2 years maximum. The injection stopped periods completely for 3 years. Now copper coil and the Desogestrel 75mg pill for the bleeding caused by the coil - double coverage as I want no suprise perimenopause babies!
