@JudgeBurrito tbf, that article was aimed at parents, since women who choose not to have kids already know everything she's saying.

I did also say that the relationship she has with her niece is something she values and makes her feel she isn't missing out on anything, not that child free women generally are missing anything if they don't have/value those relationships.

What on earth makes you think the article was aimed at parents? That's like saying a mummy blogger's article is aimed at the childfree so we can see what it's like to be a mum. Just because women might also be CF and agree with her doesn't mean it's not nice to see it in print to validate that, to hear from people in similar circumstances. Hence this subforum.

Ive yet to see an article in a magazine about the discrimination against the child free. This from Poorna came close but i wish she had expanded on it.

We have to recognise the sexism around children being yoked to fulfilment for women in a way it is not for men

There is so much more that could have been mentioned like the discrimination when it comes to Christmas and holiday working. And housing,

@JudgeBurrito I took it to be aimed at mothers because she was explaining things that other child free women would already have known. But no offence was meant with that.

And I guess because more women become mothers than don't
