Hi everyone

I have just started a NVQ3 online in Childcare learning and Development.

I could take it at college but this seemed so much better for me and my family.

Anyone taken it at college? How did you find it? Have you gone on the do the next level?

Would love to hear from you!!!!!

I did mine at college years ago and went on to do my Foundation Degree. My DH is just doing his NVQ3 by correspondence course and it is much better than the way I did it at college. He has no intention of doing any more.

I did level 3 CACHE and it nearly finished me off between juggling CMing/family/attending college in the evenings and studying til 2 am for 2 years

Mind you it was 25 years since I last did any formal edumacation [old]

I did mine with the NVQ consortium, and filed all my work on-line through one-file. It was brilliant, I worked at my own pace, my work was marked quickly without me having to give my folder to an assessor (which seemed to be a major problem around here, as the student would have to wait ages just to carry on).

My assessor was brilliant, came to my home, out on trips with me and was always at the end of a phone on via E-mail. I didn't have the time or energy to drive an hour to my nearest college to do it, so it was a complete lifesaver.
