hi one of my mindee parents has packed her job in and wants ds to come tome for 2 day as she says that she can claime tax credits as she is suffering with depression i dont think she can ....

As CMs, how the parent gets their income (employment/benefits/inheritance/trust fund etc) shouldn't be of any interest or concern to us

Unless it's illicit earnings from brothel keeping lol

true but ive had ds from 9 months now 2.5 and would love her to stay but dont want her or me to get into trouble (can i for having her)

I agree with BALD you don't have to justify her possible claims that's up to the authorities, however if I thought that a parent was making an illegal claim I would strongly advise them not too.

It may well be the case that certain income related benefits continue if she is off sick, she may still be getting paid from her employer. therefore tax credits etc would stay the same.
