hi is it normal for housing benefit to ask the parent for their contract?

As a CM, I have been aske to supply evidence that the parent is paying me.
I photocopied her contract and they were happy with it.

yes I had to supply evidence (it was a written letter detailing what the parent pays) for housing benefit and various

thanks for your replies, why would housing benefit need it? sorry for sounding thick.

oh and i have to keep sending the messages twice before they are shown on the thread has it happened to anybody else?

Yes have provided copy invoices and letters several times, they use it to calculate household expenditure and the amount a family should have to live on.
