Anyone done the course? Thinking about it? I've just sent in my application form to start the course in September, I'm hoping for the 6 month course despite my irrelevant degree.

Apparently I'd be the first childminder in my area to undertake the course.

Thanks all. Got my interview next week and have had to find my GCSE certificates from 1992 which I find bloody ridiculous!

I've got to take a 'resource' that I use in my setting and present it to the group showing how it aids the children's development... any ideas? Would like something with a bit of a wow factor!

chabbychic I would take yourself

You are your best resource and you can really waffle on about it

A story sack with puppets/props or story shoe box perhaps or something to do with making maths fun perhaps. What age group have you got in mind?

I do like the idea of talking about myself .

Didn't have an age group in mind although probably have most experience with 3-4 year olds.

Was thinking maybe clay? Or something to do with minibeasts?
