Triple buggies

I will soon be minding a 10 month old, a 13 month old and a 17 month old and will on occasion have them all together. I don't think that the 17month old will cope with a buggy board or one of those sit on thingies so I'm having to look at a triple buggy which i would only have to use for one journey to school for maybe 4-5 times a month. i know that it is going to be a big expence for littlew use but i'm not sure what else to do, any ideas greatfully received!

How about having the 10mnth old in a back carrier?

Or getting the 17mnth old used to going on the buggyboard for short journeys gradually. (I have had a few that age who have managed fine on a buggyboard with some practice).

How about one of those buggypod clip on seats on a double?

Do you have the space for a triple buggy for such infrequent use?

Having tried every triple on the market and hated them all Im probably not the best person to give advice! lol

agree that a back carrier and the double buggy you have may be an easier option?

I have an abc triple, its fantastic but very big to store, I use my double wherever possible. If that helps lol

I gave up with a triple it was so heavy, I had the one which was a double with a seat on the front. It was great to push but you need a garage to store it to save messing around with folding it etc.
Personally I sold mine and used the car to do the school pick up when I had the 3 together it was much easier, but then I can park outside school.
I would also use a double and a back carrier for the short time you need it, until they can use a buggy board or the bibi stroller rider that is great.

thanks for the replies, I have ruled out the triple now as I live on a very steep hill, I'm going to take my double to an independant retailer to see what they suggest. Although I quite like the idea of the back pack I am concerned that it would aggrevate an old back injury?
