Moving To Barbados With Family!

Im a nanny been working with a family for 7months.
They are re-locating and taking me with them.
Just like to hear from nannies that have lived in the carribean, what life is like etc?

Sorry, never lived or indeed been to the caribbean.
I personally wouldn't consider moving country with a family whom I have only known for 7 months.
If you are young and want some adventure... sure go ahead. Just make sure you have enough money to get yourself back again... so if it goes wrong, you can go home - wherever your home is.
Take precautions... check immigration rules (and work permit), read up on local laws, taxes, make sure you know as much about the family as possible and let someone else (such as your parents, or a sister or brother, or other relative) know where you are going and how often you will be in touch with them.

Relocating to the Caribbean - could be a useful read.

Look on Expats boards such as BritishExpats.com see what others have written about Barbados. "the one thing you need to know about Barbados is that basically its Manchester in the sun!"
