Just wanted to give you all an update, we've found our Au Pair
Have been emailing back and forth and finally did Skype on Friday evening with dd (who was totally hyper, she's 4yrs, and insisted on giving AP the grand tour of the house with me trailing behind with the webcam....this is the kitchen, this is the toilet, this is the cupboard....you get the picture).
We offered her the position and she said yes! She then followed up with a lovely email at the weekend saying how much she enjoyed talking with us and how she was so excited at the thought of coming to us.
She is from Sweden and will be finishing school in June so we have a little while to wait yet, but I'm hoping that will give us the full July and August to settle before dd start school in Sept.
I'm drafting the contract this week but would appreciate any pointers (I know DIOM you have mentioned your contract before) just so I don't miss out anything important.
I'm actually really excited too, is that sad?
