Hi all,
Some advice please.

I've just been asked if i can mind 18 mionth old twins. What are the restrictions about this?

Here is what is says on my reg cert:

no more than 3 childre under 8 years, of these not more than 1 in the early years and 1 under one. Am confused.

Please reply asap

So I am guessing you have 2 children under 5 and 1 between 5 & 8?

eatfruit · 21/03/2010 11:27

So you wouldn't be able to have the twins without a variation as you can only have 3 under 5 in total

oh ok, thank you so much for your reply. I will let her know.

& you DS is attending full-time school? If so you need to check with OFSTED but it should be fine as he is in the next age category

eatfruit · 21/03/2010 11:56

Yes he is in full time school.

I will ring Ofsted tomorrow,
Thanks so much

Even if for some reason they say your son is not a rising 5 (ie. out of the early years) then I would still apply for a variation. You never know, they might grant it!

I agree - especially as it's for twins as they'll know this parent may stuggle to find childcare
