Nanny raise

We have a brilliant wonderful nanny whom we adore (shared between two families, we split the salary between us and she looks after both kids simultaneously).

This is the first nanny for both employers. Are annual raises standard? If so, how much of a raise is expected? Or would we be giving a Wonderfulness Raise (entirely justified, in our opinion).

Did you get a raise? In this economic climate many people are not getting a raise, or if they do get one it is quite small.

An annual raise would I'm sure be appreciated however people are often glad just to have a job at the moment.

if you can afford it then about 3/5% is about normal it seems
