I am consdiering becoming a CM or nanny but focusing on SN children, I have 10 years experience of SN plus my personal family experience. Does anyone currently do this? Is there likely to be a good uptake? How much do you charge?
TIA

Speak to your local authority. They will tell you if there is a need for SN CM (and there probably is). They will also tell you if they are able to offer extra funding, or equipment to help you.

Where are you?? there is a pilot scheme in gloucestershire which i'm hoping to be involved in. I'm also registered with social services for children assessed under caf.
There are grants available for childminding children with additional needs.
But be aware you can not charge a different rate but if the child requires extra care then they may take up 2 spaces in which case they can be charged.
Talk to your local early years team, and go on any of the free training available as although you have the experience the pilot scheme is usually offered to the childminders who attend the up to date training. Well thats what happens around here and also only to childminders with an nvq3.
