Ive been waiting for my CRB for nearly 12 weeks, why oh why is it taking soooooooooooooo long?

I'm starting to get fed up and want to give up the idea of becoming a childminder.

How much longer will it be? ? ?

You probably applied for it just before Christmas and that is such a bad ideea as I always had delays for any application that I did before Christmas .I applied for mine on the 6th of January and I received on 19th of February.If you have the reference number for it track it online just to see at what stage it is.I am a nanny and an agency did it for me but I supouse you did it via Ofsted but that shouldnt affect it .
Wait another week and if you dont get any news try and give them a call.

Give Ofsted a call, because they have to chase it after 30 days. Also the CRB people have to chase it after 90 days. We waited 4 months and it had been at the Local police station - even though they told us they had sent it on!
