Morning

I have another busy day today with one in, one out, another in, another out. Roll on Friday!

And even DS is getting annoyed with not finding the right toys in the right boxes so the toys are due for a sorting, too.

Going to be at home today, having a short settling session with a baby I know I am going to fall head over heels in love with

New one starting today. Hoping he settles in OK.

(Can you all give DD a shout and tell her she needs to get out of bed for school?)

HSMM, your DD out of bed yet??????

DS is only 5 and it is sometimes a struggle to get him up, too.

Baby arriving v soon for setting. Hardest on the mums, I think..... remembering back to my time of leaving DS with a CM for the first time.

Morning all

Bit of a wierd day, some older mindees as school finished for them, the usual little ones and before and after schoolies as well.

Looking forward to Sunday... a day off woooohooo!

My loverlly older ones are helping me sort of the craft stuff, despite the little ones best efforts to rearrange it

Hi everyone

Hope settling in sessions go well, had few of those myself recently, weird one the other day though. 17m old came straight in for first session of 5 hours and was fine but one of my mindees took an instant dislike (as soon as they saw them) and yet was fine about all the rest. Her mum said SHE is also like this, she gets like a sixth sense about people - trying not to read too much into it but long term mindee been a bit off since (luckily it's only 5 hours a week this one).

HSMM - hope she got up. Ds1 gets up at 6am in the morning a lot. This morning he'd made himself and had breakfast. I thought great til I remembered the cereal box came from a high cupboard so when I found out how he got it (using a massive tube to knock it down), so I asked him not to in future

Right, got 10 mins to scoff a sarnie then need to get kids up and off to school to watch the Year 2's perform the annual Dragon Dance. Ds1 is the head

Can't wait til today is over though, had a MAJOR headache since first thing but didn't take anything straight away as was off to Drs for blood tests and wasn't sure if would affect the results? Taken some since but not made that much difference. I nearly fainted having them done and normally ok (alhtough don't like). I wasn't expecting 9 tubes of blood though!!! .

Right, 5 mins left now lol, have a good afternon all

No4 - I can't believe how much it affected me, did I say earlier that I had a little cry after. I was so embarrassed but she was lovely and said my body would be quite shocked at the level of blood taken and i had nearly just fainted so not to be too hard on myself. Felt very weak all the rest of the day (but then again, having 5 x 1-2 yrs olds to still deal with didn't help lol). Feel light headed still but apart from that I'm fine thanks I was a little concerned about the electrical studies I'm due to have but tbh, after that amount of blood (I take after my mum, no good with this stuff), I say 'bring it on' to the studies
