What is a top end salary (weekly, net) these days?

What would you expect or look to be paid for a nanny / housekeeper role which is 12 hours a day, 5 days a week?

Sorry to ask a personal money question but I'm having difficulty getting a straight answer from agencies and nannies alike.

Bugger meant employers NI.

But some earn £30k net - that's about £600 a week, or £10 an hour.

I think nanny/housekeeper roles are less attractive tbh

we started off advertising for nanny/housekeepers years ago but have found that just getting nannies (without the housekeeping bit) is actually better for everyone all round

I would keep the cleaner on if you can and get a nanny (who will do all the children's washing etc. and if you ask her nicely, will cook a big batch of tea so that a portion can be left for you iyswim)

yep top nannies (and i would say that i am one) do cost a lot

you want 12hr days and that does bump the price up

but you should be able to find someone you like for less
