Exciting news: Ofsted is changing its main telephone number from the more expensive (20-30p a minute) 08456 404040 number to a "standard geographic rate" 0300 number. Depending on how often you ring them and spend several minutes listening to the lovely hold music while waiting to speak to someone who might know the answer to your questions, this could save pounds!
The new main number is going to be 0300 1231231 and is up and running now. The old number will be kept for at least six months though if you want to save on the cost of re-printing complaints policies!
