i am submitting my tax return online now (yes yes yes!! i know, at the 11th hour!) but I cannot see where the personal allowance is included.

must i include that as an allowable expense?

Where does it usually appear?

Now come & help me do EYFS

looneytune · 30/01/2010 15:33

I know, I know but I find it SOOOOO hard to get any time to do all this stuff. I need an office, I really do!!! The only place I can hide to do it all is in my bedroom but it's not ideal. Now I have an assistant, it should be easier than doing it all the childminding, obs, accounts etc. by myself (I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds it hard to find time??!!!). Having said that, DH needs to remember that he's my assistant and allow me more time to get on with it all!! lol

looneytune · 31/01/2010 15:37

I submitted mine a couple of hours ago and paid so all sorted (although they have confused me as I have an employer ref number and haven't been employed since 2003!!!)

lowrib · 31/01/2010 15:49

(I'm Lowri B really, but I answer to low rib too )

lowrib · 31/01/2010 15:50

As you can see I think I may be procrastinating a little!

Back to it now ...

BoysAreLikeDogs · 31/01/2010 15:51

ahhhhh, I often wondered which you were

lowrib · 31/01/2010 16:32

Yay! Done it!!!

I use lowrib as a username on lots of things mostly because it's usually available. I only came to mnet for a bit of advice about something to do with my pregnancy, and didn't give my posting name much thought. I have no idea then that it would take over my life I would still be here now

Most of the time I kind of assume I exist here in a sea of anonymity, and I am when people sometimes seem to actually recognise me like you did now. (And Kaloki also, recently).

When that happens it reminds me that I really would like to change my name to something a bit more witty / apt for mnet. There are some fantastic names here. But on the other hand, as I've been posting here a while, I kind of like it that I have a bit of history to my name.

I'm about to start back to work very soon. One to think about on the train I think.

lowrib · 31/01/2010 16:36

I mean had no idea. Gah!
