You are not going to believe this, guys. The lovely temp (and she really is lovely) who came today has had to leave because her mum was rushed into hospital. We don't know if/when she'll be coming back. So we are without childcare again! I am currently in Paris and DH was supposed to be going into work tomorrow because he hasn't been able to get in all week. He has no leave left either. Crikey! Anybody want three lovely children, two with diarrhoea?

Artistic and rhythmic. We would have been about the same vintage! I never did acro competitively although I loved doing it.

I'm really wondering if I knew you now - small world...

Happy to help, email is boffinmum at hotmail dot co dot uk.

What is a TB? Have you been riding a former Prime Minister? I think many people tried to pull ineffectually on his reins while he galloped off, as I recall.

I can dance the polka too, by the way, and repair GameBoys that have been through the washing machine. And build a computer from parts.

thoroughbred, crazy fiends that they are, great fun across country but tend to boil over in the school. Thoroughbred mare, especially if chestnut, don't even bother

I've only ever ridden small clumpy things in people's back paddocks. I would be far too scared to ride a skittish TB.

hurray, have discovered 2 more things I can do:

flipping pancakes - managed triple flip this morning (or should that be triple toe-loop? maybe watching too much winter olympics...)

shopping. No don't laugh, am usually rubbish at it but went and bought 2 gorgeous cardies this mornign in about 5 mins - normally would have faffed around for days if not weeks before carefully purchasing one and then worrying about extravagance.....

once a thoroughbred decides to co-operate, is most amazing sensation ever. When I win the lottery I shall truly indulge myself

anyone noticed we are slightly off thread ?
