Anyone else had any problems? It's been fine until this month but I've just noticed I didn't get the payment this month and wondered if any others have had problems?

Oh god, nightmare!!! Is this a recent problem or have you always had issues? I was fine until this time but I really need the payment I haven't had!!

Problems seem to have got ALOT worse since they changed over to 'computershare'.

I recently posted about the problems ive been having with them...although got a phonecall from them last week apologising and confirming that have paid me the £105 invoice i sent them for all the late payments due to thier general incompetance!

I am still waiting for a payment from a parent from November, which aparantly i will receive on 16th December! So they will be getting another invoice for late payment!

The general problem seems to be that they take the money from parents wages then neglect to put it into the parents voucher account for them to send to childcarers!

I found that they had even cancelled automatic payments that parents had set up and not told the parents or me!

Also they are a nightmare to get hold of by phone as it generally takes about 20mins just to get to speak to someone!

Good luck, hope you get it sorted out!

What a PITA!!! I guess I'll be lucky to get this in time for Christmas then!!!

16th that was the date I got paid last

Cancelled payments check

No vouchers check

Not talking to parents/carers check

They need to sort themselves out

childmindermk · 13/12/2009 14:37

They really do need to sort themselves out!.... and i would advise you to invoice them for the late payments to get something from them for the chaos!
They will pay you the charges you invoice them for and i think that if more of us charge them then they may start to realise they have to buck their ideas up!

looneytune · 13/12/2009 14:43

Well they sound AWFUL!!!

I've actually written an email to them and mentioned compensation and how furious I am etc. If I'm to do the late charges thing, would I invoice the parent the late charge amount in my contract and get them to send or can I send direct to busy bees (I'd never actually charge the parent the fee, just not sure if would need to to get it back via busy bees)

I don't think we should sit back and accept this so called 'service' from them!

They seem to think they are the top childcare voucher company and maybe they are getting too big for their boots thinking they can mess everyone around like this...the smaller less well known voucher companies i deal with have never made late payments or 'lost payments' ..do i need to go on?

Us childcare providers need to show them that we will not sit back and accept this from them!

Maybe 'Watchdog' would like to look into the way they run their company?

Maybe that would make them take some notice and actually provide the same service the other voucher companies do?

childmindermk · 13/12/2009 14:49

I sent an invoice with a very shirty letter directly to computershare claiming £30 standard late payment fee then £5 per day for every day it was late per payment that was late! (in my case it was 2 payments)

In the letter i explained that i was sending this directly to them as it was late due to their shoddy service and no fault of the parents who had been trying to make payments on time only to discover their voucher money had gone missing!

I also have very rarely made these charges to parents but computershare dont need to know that!

looneytune · 13/12/2009 14:51

I couldn't agree more!!!

looneytune · 13/12/2009 14:52

Oh, let us know whether or not they pay it then I think I'll do the same!

OP posts:
childmindermk · 13/12/2009 15:43

definately will let you know!

childmindermk · 16/12/2009 12:58

Update: Still had no sign of the payment i invoiced them for the late payment fees so phoned them yesterday and spent 25minutes trying to get it sorted out!
The lady who had told me they were paying the fee last week was 'in training' apparantly!
I phoned again later on to then be told that the finance department had now dealt with this and sent payment and i should receive it in 3-4 days!
We'll see!
Keep you posted!
