Childcare Voucher Debacle!

I usually save tax and NI by paying for chilcare via deductions from my salary using BusyBees - now Computershare. My childminder informed me 2 weeks ago that she had not been paid. The company were contacted and all appeared to have been resolved. A fortnight later and hours on the phone both speaking and being left on hold, and NOTHING is resolved! My employer has paid but the money has disappeared into the ether. Tonight I have been promised for the 4th time that someone will contact me tomorrow - we shall see! Anyone else having problems with their childcare vouchers?

I must say it's been a complete debacle with no-one from the company wanting to take ownership.

Weird one - get your childminder to check if she has set up a date that she wants to be paid? If she has she needs to set it from a date to everyday, and then she should be paid quite quickly after they take the money from your employer!

This is what happened to me last month, and it took numerous calls from myself and the 'parent' to them for me to finally talk to some who knew what they were talking about and to get the situation sorted.

Sorry not much help, but totally understand what you are saying sorry this has happened to you and your minder.

I have the managing director telephone number / head of customer services email if you want to give me your email as we had huge problems last month.

Who regulates the childcare voucher providers? I suspect no one alas. Keep on moaning to Computershare and also your employer as they may get so fed up of staff moaning that they terminate at the end of the current period and contract with another provider.

Computershare, formerly Busy Bees, made huge mistakes last month on the transfer from busy bees to Computershare. The family I have who pay by this means had their money taken out by employers but sent to previous provider by computershare, therefore I didn'y get my money on time! Family paid me by cheque for full amount, have received the December payment ok though so looks as if it is soted, but won't hold my breath though.
