How to contact students?

I'm looking for after school care for my daughter and as my local university has various education degrees I thought the position might be suitable for some of those students looking for part time study, but I've got no idea how to get in touch with them.

Does anyone have any ideas how I would do this?

  • Student Union/Guild may have a job centre
  • E-mail the department(s) and ask to put a notice up on a board
  • Post on your local Gumtree
  • Local newsagent

If you specify 'student needed for PT childcare' then they should come flocking.

What is your local uni? I may have trained some of the sabb team and therefore have their e-mail addresses.

My local uni is Greenwich. I've seen a couple of adverts for people from the uni looking for this type of work and thought ot would be easier to go straight to the uni rather tha trawl through hundreds of ads.

Ahhh. They're one of the funny ones without a dedicated VP Welfare so I haven't done anything with them sadly.

This seems to be their uni job page though.

Thanks, frakkinaround - I'll check it out.
