I used to look after a teachers child - worked on 39 wks term-time, 13 wks school hols. Never took my own hols in term-time so didnt have to factor them into costings. HTH

Yeh I think the nursery vouchers run over 38wks of the year. So around 38-39wks, some schools have 4 inset days as well as the holidays.

Sorry should have said I look at the local schools / counils website they usually have the holidays on for the coming year and work out from their.

Go on the council website that the school is under and you can download this years and next, or sometimes the school dates are on the school website.

I normally calculate on 39 weeks term and 4 weeks holidays. You may then have to take into account whether you are going to take your own holidays in term time, or in the school holidays. It also depends on the school - private schools often have 10 week terms and schools in different areas may have different terms.
