I have changed the spelling of my MN name. This is mainly because for most of my adult life I have been Kate, I chose Katiemac as that was what my nana called me when I was little.
However I know employ 2 other ladies called Kate
One is also Kate M (like me) the other is Kate J....in order to defend my individuality (and because the kids find it easier) I have become KATY and basically I was getting confused as to who I was and how to spell it
However it also has problems as parents (esp new ones) give me notes with Kate E written on them
