CM Club: Website advice please!

I am thinking of doing my own websie to promote my childminding business but i have no idea where to start!
Can anybody give me any advice on how to go about this?
I want to be able to run it myself and obviously as cheaply as possible...think i have heard somewhere that it is possible to do it for free...but then i could be wrong!
I would appreciate any advice that anyone can give me.

One.com do a £10 a year site if you are anygood with HTML its a do ityouresf thing. I'm not so I use Vista Print, its cheap and easy to change.

hopefully even i should be able to do it as it sounds quite straight forward!
