We are having a hell of a job finding childcare for our daughter from September and are thinking about trying to find a part time nanny - she's at nursery p/t but we need someone to have her in the afternoons basically. Do tax credits help with nannies, or is is just nurseries/childminders?

if your nany is ofsted registered then i think they might, but as nannys dont have to be registered, you may need to pay for one to get registered iykwim
