Sunburn

After massaging acres of suncream into children, I wasn't so dutiful with my own shoulders which now can been seen in a darkened room - definately a good topic next week on why we wear suncream

we have been out all day and although not particularly sunny dh looks like a lobster as he wouldnt put suncream on when i suggested it to him several times

DH won't wear it. He only uses stuff that has the protection value of cooking oil

We went out yesterday and I dutifully got the sunscreen out and tried to hand it to the kids. They all mocked me for putting it on and didn't bother and followed dh's appalling example.

Guess who came home with sunburn? ME! (didn't top up my face enough). They are all fine!
