Ofsted Self evaluation Form

Need to fill mine in have spent 4 long hours and getting no where fast, does anyone have a completed one i get get the just of?

it driving me insane i know what i want to say but cannot word it right

any help would be great

Sorry Sarah cant help just wanted to say I am going on a course on Tuesday which includes how to fill the bugger in.. if I still have trouble then I am just not bothering,, self assess in my own way anyway and write it all down for Ofsted..will all be changes soon I think anyway cos of the fuss cms are kicking up..

I find using the EYFS cards and CD helped - so for example on the question of keeping safe, read through all the topics with this as a heading and think about what you already do and jot it down, even using the words on the EYFS cards and build it from there, HYSWIM

Calm down everyone, I have only been childminding 3 years but come from a senior nursery nurse background and I had a shock call from OFSTED informing me my inspection was due now, and it is 8 months early. When asked about the SEF I told her I was booked on a course to help me through it and hadn't looked at it yet as they were early with my inspection. It is not yet a requirement but they would like to see evidence that you are planning to include it in the near future. Also, since implementation of the EYFS last September, all childminders are supposed to be inspected within seven months of this.

Dates for inspections went out of the window when EYFS came in in sept.
Therefor you can be inspected at any point.
a collegue of mine had her inspection In april 2008, and was again inspected last week.
Apparently names are randomly selected by computer, so you can not go by when you think you are due an I spection.

course was shit.. E.Y.F.S 'specialist' woffled throughout..so.. not bothering.

I do daily diaries and obs and have all risk assessments and self evaluation forms from my parents,, all mark me good or excellent in ALL areas so thats enough

I havn't got the time and its not compulsary to actualy fill out the form AS LONG as you do some form of self assessment.
