After reading a post on mumsnet and finding a lovely website with nature activities, I decided to put together a list of useful websites to refer to for activity ideas I can use when childmiding.

so far I've only got

www.naturedetectives.org.uk/
www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies
www.kidscraftweekly.com/
www.mumsnet.c om (obviously!)
www.craftsforkids.com

What websites (if any) do other childminders here use?

I like these for toddlers/young children to play games to aid their hand-eye co-ordination:

www.nickjr.co.uk
www.poissonrouge.com (this is FAB!!)

Also for pre-schoolers:

www.starfall.com

thanks nn. i've just been playing on starfall for ages.

Obvious one but i use youtube for e.g. seeing various fish/whales/animals and what they do, acrobats, instruments, old songs e.g. max bygraves' pink toothbrush, right said fred + animations, button moon, babies/children laughing and lots more. Just need to censor first!
