Anyone got a good bubble mixture recipe? Washing up liquid and water seems to make bubbles that drop straight to the ground. I want floaty ones .

Twims · 23/05/2009 10:55

Why don't you buy them?

Littlepurpleprincess · 23/05/2009 11:02

You can get liquid glycerin in Boots - in the cough and cold section, in amongst their cough medicines

Littlepurpleprincess · 23/05/2009 11:18

oo I'm going to Boots later anyway. Thankyou!

A selection of bubble recipes Homemade Bubble Solutions

1 part glycerine to 10 parts water and 10 parts washing up liquied.

So, this means 1 dl glyserine, 10 dl washing up liquied, and 10 dl water, which makes just over 2 l of bubble liquid.

think the mixture works best with water, washing up liquid and a bit of sugar - no idea how much just what i saw on that nina and the neurons program
