I'm not a childminder, but I work in education and got an email about this. I'm going to pass it on to my DD's childminder and thought there may be some people on here that would want to give their opinions/feedback too:

QCA has launched an online questionnaire to gather views on the EYFS during its first year.

This is an opportunity for EYFS practitioners to let QCA know how well it has been implemented, and to help identify the challenges, issues, strengths and possibilities that exist. It is quick and easy to complete, and you will be helping QCA establish a broad and accurate picture of the EYFS.

Please access the online questionnaire from this page. You can also download a MS Word version of the questionnaire.

The questionnaire will be available until 24 July 2009.

I saw this in Nurseryworld magazine today - mooki you beat me to it . Am off to complete now..............

Have just looked at this document and it is mainly a 'tick the appropriate box' questionnaire - absolutely no opportunity to tell them how we really feel about EYFS . Strange that the release of this document coincides with the first applications for exemption from EYFS - one of them a childminder - being rejected.

Won't be filling it in.
