We are an English/Italian family in London (King's Cross) looking for a (live-out) nanny to look after our 12 month old son for 5-6 hours a day, preferably 3 times a week (both joint and sole charge, timings are flexible). This may progress to full-time, sole charge towards the end of March (I am hoping to go back to work then). We'd like someone with experience, energy, patience, enthusiasm and a genuine love for children. Additionally, we would like our nanny to:

  • be a fluent English speaker but ideally, bilingual Italian-English.
  • have a valid work permit (if appropriate),
  • be CRB checked
  • have excellent, checkable references
  • have recently completed a paediatric first aid course.

I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you!

Hi - we are looking for a childminder in the Willesden Green/Cricklewood/Dollis Hill/Kilburn area, 4 days per week from early June when my DD will be 6 months old.

As I may be able to delay my start back at work until September, so I would also be interested to hear from any CMs who will have places coming available at any time between June and September (hope this makes sense ).

lowrib · 01/02/2010 18:00

Hi,

I'm looking for a childminder in the Hackney area (or nearby) for ad-hoc days for my lovely 13 month DS. DS is a very happy, smiley baby, he's a joy to be around!

I'm going back to work 3 days a week, DP works freelance, and we need cover for when his days clash with mine.

I estimate it might be one or two days a fortnight. DP only finds out which days he's working a couple of days in advance (and sometimes less) so we need someone who is happy to take DS sometimes at a day's notice.

I was thinking maybe a childminder who has other kids, but would be happy to have one extra every now and then.

I hope I'm not asking the impossible?!

Please let me know if you think you know anyone who might be suitable, or have any advice on how to go about arranging ad-hoc childcare.

Many thanks

Hi,

We are looking for a full-time, live-out nanny (prob. 8am - 7pm Mon-Fri.) to start July when I go back to work after a year's maternity leave.

We have two gorgeous boys, who will be just turning 1 and 3. You will be looking after the baby full time. Our 3 year old will be in nursery 8.30am - 3.30pm - you will be responsible for drop-offs and pick-ups, after school, mealtimes etc.

This is a very full-time role, but should be extremely rewarding as our boys are full of sunshine and happiness!

We live in NW London.

Please let me know on here if you know of anyone suitable.
Thanks

NANNY AVAILABLE!!

Hi all mums and dads,

Hello,

I am a 27 year old female, living in West Sussex. I have been a nanny for two separate families for nearly three years (a 3yr old, 2 yr old and a 15 month old). Due to one of these families expecting a new arrival in February, they do not need me anymore.

I am privately educated to A levels and fully CRB checked. I have a full UK driving license which I have held for over 8 years and I am a non-smoker and do not drink. I also have my own car.

I am an outdoors type of person and so weather permitting I try and do as many activities outdoors as possible, be it trips to the local farm to see animals or walks in the countryside to collect leaves to do leaf printing with paints and crayons when we get home.

Understandably the care of your children is of the upmost importance to you and that the right nanny will not only work well with them but will fit in seamlessly with your family and schedule. I do hope that you will meet with me so that I have the chance to prove myself, as I believe my kind, caring, capable and amiable nature would speak for itself.

Both my families are happy to give me verbal and written references.

Many thanks.

Hi, I'm looking for a childminder in Bexley, Kent who does the school run for Hurst Primary School to look after my two sons, two days a week - Mondays and Fridays, from the beginning of August.

I need before/after school care for my eldest son who will be starting school in September. Plus all day care for my youngest son who will be 10 months in August.

Looking forward I'll be sending my youngest to Bexley Manor so need someone who is willing to do this nursery run when the time comes.

My friend is a wonderful nanny and lives in Muswell Hill and her current position comes to an end in 2 weeks.

Your position would suit her perfectly.

Her computer is broken but you can email me and I will pass it on to her.

ps she is very well thought of and has excellent references.

flybynight · 16/02/2010 19:18

This is a bit of a long shot. I'm in North Leeds (LS20), currently a SAHM of 3 aged 9, 8 and 6. I'm expecting a fourth in April and I need a part-time live-out nanny or mothers help to help me keep everything on an even keel.

The children have a lot of clubs and activities so some nights I would need a helper to do the driving and running around, and some nights stay at home with the little on. I'm thinking around 20 a week, between 2-3 and 8. My email is [email protected].

YokoRose · 17/02/2010 13:29

It would be every Saturday until 20th March, and either each Wednesday or Thursday. We live in Leighton Buzzard LU7. Please RSVP if interested. Thanks!
