How do I say no?

I'm posting this anonymously for obvious reasons.

I interviewed for a nanny job and felt I didn't click with the family. They have offered me the position but I've decided against it. How do I say no without upsetting the family? I've never turned down a job before

Hmm tough one, just say you enjoyed meeting them but have decided it isn't the job for you?

Just be honest. Say they were very nice, you're sure they'll find the right nanny but it's not the right working environment for you.
