I am atckling last years accounts

I have done the percentages for most of my household bills, except for internet and home phone (two seperate bills), had both due to cm'ing, what's the maximum % I can put down as an expense?

Also I bought a laptop last year when my home pc went kerrput, I know I can put some of it on expenses but how? and how much?

Just want these done and outof the way! Also cant send off my tax credits pack for last year til I have my cm'ing accounts done.

I put 50% of each - but in reality I spend far more of CM than on home

I'll check on the computer for you - I think the rules changed (might be tonight)

capital allowance has changed now its been scrapped
if your CA is less than 5k whack it through your expensives
if you have any CA left from last yr and its less than 5k then put that through as expensives too

Sorry Sammy - I went to bed

From what I remember DMO is right, I knew something odd happened

I'll try & look again tonight

Thanks to you both I think I will pop into local tax office next week and ask about the laptop as don't really get it and don't want to do it all wrong!

When these accounts are up to date it's bye bye childminding paperwork, so worth getting done and dusted properly.
